Thank you to the lovely neighbors, community organizers, nonprofit directors, and offices of elected officials who came to our Community Design Process for the proposed Urban Farm at 6234 S. Wolcott.
It was a productive visioning and discussion for the site, lead by Executive Director Martell Collins. Lots of exciting summer programs in the works. Hosted by the West Englewood Branch of Chicago Public Library. Wood St. Collective collaborated with community organizer and founder of the recently established nonprofit Kenny and Family Out for Love and Peace. At Winterfest in West Englewood, hosted by Imagine Englewood If, organizers gave-away children's books and toys for the holiday season. Also distributed were Subway gift cards for adults heads of families. Thank you Ken (pictured)!
