Wood St. Collective collaborated with community organizer and founder of the recently established nonprofit Kenny and Family Out for Love and Peace. At Winterfest in West Englewood, hosted by Imagine Englewood If, organizers gave-away children's books and toys for the holiday season. Also distributed were Subway gift cards for adults heads of families. Thank you Ken (pictured)!

![]() Green and Growing Summit was hosted in May 2023 by Chicago Public Schools, Openlands, Healthy Schools Campaign and Advocates for Urban Agriculture. Wood St. Collective co-founder Nathan Haefelin spoke on a panel presentation called "The Future of Neighborhood Markets" alongside organizers Adonis Platt from Grow Greater Englewood and Ms. Gina Jamison from the Tre-Ahm Community Garden. Dunkin' and Pumpkin At Woods St. Garden in October, we served Dunkin' coffee and munchkins. Folks went home with a melon.
